The
JACK REIN and the ESSEX COUNTY scholarships will be awarded
at the ECAA Fall meeting scheduled for October 31, 2007. Any
regular member of the ECAA interested in applying for one of
these scholarships must complete this application and submit
it no later than October 1, 2007.
The
Jack Rein Scholarship (up to $750) must be used at the MAAO
Annual Assessor’s School to be held at the University of Massachusetts
(Amherst) during the 2008 calendar year. The two ECAA Scholarships
(each up to $375) can be used for any course related to assessing
and must be used during the 2008 calendar year. Scholarship
recipients must receive credit for the course and obtain a
passing grade on the exam.
As
you know the ECAA is committed to the profession of assessing
and to provide educational opportunities to its members. The
scholarship awards represent one way for the association to
invest in those members wishing to enhance their professional
status. In return for this investment, the association asks
for your professional assistance. Please contact any ECAA Executive
Committee member and let them know that you would like to invest
some of your time in your association by serving on one of
its many committees.
